Phase 1 of Bournehurst:Tick

We have completed the first phase of Bournehurst Park Village, our luxury retirement village in Maghull. The 67-bed care home, now known as Damfield Gardens, has been a labour of love with all hands to deck over the final few weeks. Our Isle of Wight team members were travelling up to Liverpool each week, we were almost on a first name basis with the receptionist at the hotel!

Seeing what started as a construction site become a shiny new home was amazing. We saw the walls go from plaster to paint, the floors from screen to plush new carpets and the mud outside to freshly laid turf. Each room became a gorgeous space for residents to enjoy with a combination of stimulating and soothing environments.

So where do we go from here? Well, we’re still on site based in our marketing suite and we’re now focusing our attention onto phase two: the lodges. The Isle of Wight team is tinkering away with sales and marketing materials whilst our on-site team and busy preparing tender packages for the construction of the first few lodges.

Whilst there are fifteen lodges, each one will no doubt be unique thanks to our tailored approach to selling homes. Our properties will have a plethora of optional extras available – from motion sensor lighting to Sonos music systems throughout the property. You’ll be spoilt for choice.
